Accountant/Bookkeeper – Immediate Opening


We are looking for a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper with a strong attention to detail to join our firm. You will be responsible for daily accounting tasks, including preparing tax documents and financial statements. You will assist clients in categorizing their records and post them in the general ledger and tax software.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Analyze budgets and create expense reports
  • Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issues
  • Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Prepare various tax returns
  • Prepare documents for audits
  • Communicating daily with both team members and clients
  • Apply accounting/tax policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
  • Report to the firm’s partners and work to improve any processes

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Prepare quality work with attention to detail and be well organized
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Confidentiality and integrity
  • A degree in accounting is a plus

Administrative Assistant – Immediate Opening

We are looking for an Accounting Administrative Assistant to support our accountants. You will field phone calls and emails, process and file paperwork, and maintain relationships with our clients and vendors. When necessary, you will also assist with payroll and accounts reconciliation. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and emails from clients and vendors
  • Send out invoices and settle accounts with clients
  • Processing completed tax returns
  • Assist with maintaining files and database

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Administrative office experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bookkeeping experience is a plus
